Before COVID-19 forced all bars and restaurants to close, many buffet chains began to practice new safety procedures.
Now, as many are reopening, these restaurants have a much different look than what diners were used to.
Restaurants like Golden Corral, HomeTown Buffet and Old Country Buffet are rolling out a bunch of changes. These include:
- Gloved workers dishing food onto customers' plates, so that diners don't have to share serving utensils.
- Offering "family-style" meals where a large platter of food is brought to the table.
- Social distancing guidelines including floor markers, table spacing, and drink delivery to tables. (TMZ)
