Only Half of Americans Say They'd Get a COVID Vaccine

A new Associated Press poll shows that only about half of Americans say they'd get a COVID-19 vaccine once it's available. That number is surprisingly low given how lethal the virus has been; the United States will almost assuredly eclipse 100,000 deaths nationwide this week. Twenty percent of all respondents said they'd refuse a COVID-19 vaccine, while another 31 percent said they weren't sure if they'd get vaccinated yet. “I am not an anti-vaxxer,” said 56-year-old Melanie Dries of Colorado Springs.
