Actress Kelly Preston died on Sunday, July 12, after a two-year battle with breast cancer, a representative for the family toldPeople. "Choosing to keep her fight private, she had been undergoing medical treatment for some time, supported by her closest family and friends," the rep said. Preston was born in Honolulu in 1962, and launched her acting career in 1985 on television. She also starred in films likeSpaceCamp, Twins, Jerry Maguire, For Love of the Game, andGotti, her last film role. She married actor John Travolta in September 1991, and they celebrated their 28th wedding anniversary last year. She is survived by Travolta, 20-year-old daughter Ella and 9-year-old son Benjamin. Her oldest son Jett died at age 16 in January 2009.
