There’s an old saying about “when life gives you lemons, make lemonade.” For Bryan Cranston, that means turning his brush with coronavirus into something positive for a lot of other people.
The “Breaking Bad” star dropped the news in a video posted to Instagram, saying he’s okay now, and only dealt with “mild symptoms." Still, he knows he’s “very lucky” and has decided to donate plasma to help with research into treatment of the virus. He also wants to encourage others to help.
Cranston gives fans a first-hand look at the process of donating plasma. He’s shown at the UCLA Blood and Platelet Center, where he’s started a program to hopefully “help some other people” in worse condition.Check out the post below.
- “I was one of the lucky ones… I count my blessings and urge you to keep wearing the damn mask, keep washing your hands, and stay socially distant,” he writes in the caption. “We can prevail - but ONLY if we follow the rules together.”
