This Company Will GIve Women Paid Time Off For Period

One of the world’s largest food delivery companies is giving women time off for that time of the month. Zomato, which just bought out Uber’s food delivery business in India, has announced that they will be offering up to 10 days of "period leave" per year for all Zomato's female and transgender employees. Zomato founder and CEO Deepinder Goyal said in an email to staff, “There shouldn't be any shame or stigma attached to applying for a period leave … this is a part of life.” (Newser)
