An Albuquerque makeup artist is receiving international attention after TikTok executives asked her to be part of a global ad campaign.
“At first I was—I thought it was spam to be honest, and I was like, this can't be real,” said Melissa Gardener.
Gardener has been using the social media platform to show off her work for about six months and has grown in popularity.
“I went on there with a couple of my makeup looks and I was getting kind of a lot of good comments, and a lot of like, a sense of community on there, and so I was like, let's do this,” she said.
