Parents Feel Pressure to Make the Hoidays Extra Special

Maybe this is why so many people are decorating for the holidays so early this year. A new survey by online retailer Zulily found that 69% of moms feel pressure to make the holidays extra special for their kids this year because of the pandemic.

And according to the survey, moms want to keep their holiday traditions as normal as possible -- from decorating the house (65%), to watching holiday movies (51%), to listening to holiday music (49%).

But families are also adding some new traditions into the mix this year. 51% say they are making their own decorations and 36% are writing thank-you letters to health care workers, first responders and other essential workers. (People)
