Psychologist Warns Playing Xmas Music Too Early Is Bad For Mental Health

Nov. 1st for some people means the holiday season has officially began and time for Christmas music! Hold up, not so fast my little elves. According to clinical psychologist Linda Blair, the constant barrage of Christmas tunes too early in the season forces people to remember all the things they have to do before the holiday. Blair says the songs are a reminder to buy presents, decorate the house, and all the stressful chores you do during Christmas. "You’re simply spending all of your energy trying not to hear what you’re hearing.” Blair added, "Christmas music is likely to irritate people if it’s played too loudly and too early.” Read more here
