Americans Googled Fries And Booze On Election Night

It looks like people are turning to french fries and booze to get through the presidential race.

Google says fries and liquor stores were the most searched over the last 24 hours, hitting all-time highs. The most sought out food online included pizza, Chinese, sushi and Mexican.

Not surprising, the tech giant reports "election"was the most looked up term around the world. Also a no brainer “anxiety” broke a search record too.

The search trends have prompted Google to advise users to check in with their family and friends.
