Yesterday was World Pancreatic Cancer Day and Alex Trebek recorded a message for the occasion.
It’s obvious that the late “Jeopardy!” host thoughtfully planned out many things, including this. He opened the show by recognizing World Pancreatic Cancer Day. But instead of making it about himself, Alex urged his audience to be wary of symptoms and get tested.
It was an emotional moment, as his decline was obvious in his raspy voice.
Here are thesymptoms of the silent cancer killer:
- Abdominal pain that radiates to your back
- Loss of appetite or unintended weight loss
- Yellowing of your skin and the whites of your eyes (jaundice)
- Light-colored stools
- Dark-colored urine
- Itchy skin
- New diagnosis of diabetes or existing diabetes that's becoming more difficult to control
- Blood clots
