The Pandemic Is Making People Reach Out To Loved Ones More

People are reaching out to loved ones – even ones they haven’t talked to in a long time. A new survey found that 50% of respondents said they have reached out to a family member or friend they’ve previously lost touch with. Seems that this holiday season there is a stronger desire to put away past differences and reconnect. The survey also found that coronavirus has changed the way people think about the holidays – with 76% saying that this year they just want to be with loved ones and enjoy good food. And 63% said they are looking forward to the holidays more than ever so they can spend time with the ones they love – even if that means spending time together virtually. (SWNS)
