When Chad Johnson played wide receiver in the NFL, he was famous for his abilities to make big plays, as well as his big personality. Now that he’s retired, Johnson is famous for his generosity.
Last week, he visited a restaurant for dinner later in the night. When the restaurant closed at 10 p.m., Johnson was still eating.
The staff hung around after closing to take care of him -- and he rewarded them in a big way.
Johnson ended up leaving a $1,300 tip and explained he was giving them $100 for each minute they stayed late.
It was a great gesture to give everyone some extra cash, especially this time of year.
