If your milk goes bad faster than you can use it, it’s definitely possible that you’ve been storing it in your fridge wrong. This might blow your mind, but, apparently, you should never store your milk in the door of the fridge.
Turns out it's the warmest spot in the fridge, and even though the milk carton fits perfectly in the door, it should actually be stored on a lower shelf in the back, where it’s coldest.
The door should be reserved for food items that aren’t quite as sensitive to temperature as milk, because with all the opening and closing of the fridge door, those items heat up a whole lot faster.Who knew?(Real Simple)
