If you think that all cereal is healthy, think again – and we’re not just talking about the fun kid-type cereals. In fact, there’s currently a class action against Post Cereals over the situation. Basically, the plaintiffs charge that many of the cereals have a lot more sugar in them than most people may have thought. Like what? Try Raisin Bran, Honey Bunches of Oats, Honeycomb and Golden Crisp.
If you’re a cereal eater, don’t expect to get rich – if there is a settlement the maximum amount any one person would receive would be about $14.28, so you will have to decide whether you have to give up one of your go-to breakfast items from Post or just read the nutritional labels more carefully.
