Hyundai Recalls Cars Over Engine Fire Danger

A safety alert for anyone who drives a Hyundai.

Owners are being told to park outside because certain models may catch on fire. Nearly 400-thousand vehicles in all are being recalled. One issue affects Santa Fe Sport SUVs from 2013 to 2015. Seems brake fluid is leaking into the engine.

The other issue is with Elantras from 2019 and 2020, as well as Konas and Velosters made this year. Those engines may need to be replaced. Notices will go out next month. So far 18 fires, but no injuries have been reported.
