New Study Says A 4-Day Week Is Better

It would be better for everyone if we all had a four-day work week -- at least according to a new study.

Researchers in Iceland tracked 2500 employees who reduced their weekly hours to 35 or 36, spread over four days instead of five. They found that in the majority of workplaces, productivity remained the same, or even increased.

Meanwhile, the study says, "worker wellbeing dramatically increased across a range of indicators, from perceived stress and burnout, to health and work-life balance." (USA Today)
