Seems during the pandemic, kids watched so much of the British cartoon Peppa Pig that some have developed English accents and started using words like “telly,” “mummy,” “holiday” instead of vacation and expressions like “give it a go.” Rhode Island mom Lauren Ouellette said her 6-year-old even started calling the bathroom a water closet.
