Mustard-Flavored Hot Dog Buns Are A Thing

Now you can have double the mustard flavor on your hot dogs, because French’s Mustard is rolling out mustard-flavored hot dog buns. Saturday, August 7th is National Mustard Day, and to celebrate the occasion, French’s has teamed up with Piantedosi Baking Company for the limited-edition buns. According to French’s they will only be available at "select well-known landmarks and baseball stadiums across the U.S."

Where can you find them? Apparently, there will be free hot dog carts (while supplies last) at The Hot Dog King outside of The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City, in front of The Lodge Tavern in Chicago, and at Pier Burger on the Santa Monica Pier in Santa Monica California (all opening noon local time). Yankee Stadium in New York and Camden Yards in Baltimore will also offer the buns during games on Saturday, while supplies last. They’ll also be available on Saturday the 14th (starting at noon till they run out) from The Best Sausage Company outside Fenway Park in Boston. Can’t make it to those spots? French’s is offering recipes for the mustard buns that you can make at home. Just go toFrenchs.com/MustardBuns. (Food & Wine)
