China Limit's Children's Time On Social Media To 40 Minutes Per Day

China is limiting the time kids under the age of 14 can spend on Douyin, China's version of TikTok, to 40 minutes a day. The app’s “youth mode” also locks kids out of the app between the hours of 10 p.m. and 6 a.m. The move is being done in an effort to reduce children’s addiction to social media. (Insider)
