COVID-19 Vaccines for Kids Approved by CDC

COVID vaccines are OK for kids. That's what the Centers of Disease Control and Prevention said Tuesday when they formally endorsed the Pfizer shots for children aged five through 11.

Experts think the move will help us fight off a potential winter surge while easing the worries of parents who feel their children are at risk.

CDC Director Dr. Rochelle Walensky said in a statement on Tuesday night, "Together, with science leading the charge, we have taken another important step forward in our nation’s fight against the virus that causes COVID-19.” (The New York Times)
