Bees Move Into Man’s Car While He Grocery Shops

Imagine coming back to your car after shopping and find an unwanted guest. This is worse.

A Las Cruces man left Albertson's with some items that weren't on his shopping list this weekend -- 15-thousand bees. The Las Cruses Police Department says the bees got into the man's car through an open window while he was shopping and were laying low in the back seat until he pulled out of the parking lot.

He jumped out of the car without getting stung and an off-duty firefighter who is also a beekeeper safely moved the swarm to his property outside of town. While this was going on, the area cordoned off,

It took about two hours to clear the scene.
