A new poll shows a growing majority of Americans believe social media is dividing the nation more than it brings people together.
The latest NBC News national poll found that 64-percent of Americans think social media platforms do more to tear us apart. By contrast, just 27-percent of all adults believe that those platforms bring us together.
More than 66-percent of us use the platforms at least once a day. That data reflects a majority among Republicans, Independents and Democrats. Back in March 2019, a similar poll found that 57-percent of Americans said social media divides us.
