It's being called "the mother of all password leaks." A popular hacker forum has leaked over 8.4 billion passwords in the largest online leak to date. How dangerous is this leak? Only 4.7 billion of the entire world's population is online. Using past data leaks and breaches, hackers shared a 100-gigabyte text file sharing the passwords. The collection was called "RockYou2021" whichTechRadarn says references a 2009 RockYou data breach that hacked MySpace, exposing 32 million passwords. While the odds say we should all be changing our passwords, you can check to see if your info was exposed user the Personal Data Leak Check tool at CyberNews.com.
