President Biden announced Thursday that all federal workers will be required to be vaccinated for COVID-19 or will have to undergo regular testing.
Biden also announced a plan to pay those who have yet to get vaccinated $100 and to reimburse employers who give their employees paid time off to get the shots.
The president said, "It's time to impose requirements on key groups to make sure they are vaccinated. Every federal government employee will be asked to attest to their vaccination status. Anyone who does not attest will be required to mask no matter where they work and test one-two times a week, socially distance, and will generally not be allowed to travel for work."
