Tom Cruise’s Car Stolen

Tom Cruise has been busy filming his new “Mission: Impossible” movie in the United Kingdom… where he was recently the victim of a theft you’d think only his character Ethan Hunt could pull off.

According to “The Sun,” thieves got away with Cruise’s luxury BMW, which had been parked outside Birmingham’s Grand Hotel. The high-tech crooks reportedly used a scanner to hack the signal from the keyless X7 Beemer’s ignition fob, so they could open the car even without getting their hands on the keys.

Luckily, Cruise is pretty tech-savvy himself, and his car was equipped with a tracking device. While police were able to get the car back, the thieves still got away with the thousands of dollars of luggage Cruise had left inside… which apparently has him fuming.

Kristen Bell Claims The Whole Bathing Thing Was A Joke

Kristen Bell thinks the great celebrity bathing debate has gotten a little out of hand. In a new interview, the star says people are treating it like “an actual Supreme Court case” when she claims the whole thing was just a joke.

As you’ll recall, several celebrities have piped up about their bathing routines after Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis told Dax Shepard on his “Armchair Expert” podcast that they’re not big on bathing their kids until “you can see dirt on them.” Kristenbacked them upearlier this month on “The View,” saying she’s a “big fan of waiting for the stink.” But now she says people are taking the whole thing too seriously.

First of all, Bell admits that she has “bad hygiene,” and that “everyone is different” when it comes to their beauty routines. But more importantly, she thinks folks need a lesson on “what is a joke and what is not,” pointing out that the celebrity bathing debate started on her husband’s podcast… AKA,“a room full of comedians.”

Adam Levine Defends Olivia Rodrigo

As we told you last week, many fans have pointed out similarities in Olivia Rodrigo's songs “Brutal” sounding likeElvis Costello’s“Pump It Up" and "Good 4 U" sounding a lot like Paramore's "Misery Business." Costello has declined to pursue any claim against Rodrigo, but the singer did give Paramore songwriting credit for "Good 4 U."

Adam Levine is coming to Rodrigo's defense, calling this the right move. In a video posted to his Instagram story, he said:

"There’s all this drama over Olivia Rodrigo and the Elvis Costello song, and Paramore chimed in about a song that sounds like theirs. Look, these are tricky things and anyone who’s ever written a song knows that you rip something off inadvertently, and it makes it to tape, and then it’s released and then there’s a lawsuit. It’s a natural thing for it to happen, and sometimes it gets ugly and sometimes it’s warranted that people take legal action. Sometimes it’s not warranted that people take legal action. And I think there’s definitely become more of a gray area that’s reared its ugly head these days."

Levine also made a comparison to the "Blurred Lines" lawsuit that both Robin Thicke and Pharrell were apart of, as it "changed the game."

He went on to ask people to give Rodrigo the benefit of the doubt explaining that "When you take someone who’s a newer artist and she’s doing things that kind of emulate the ones from generations removed, I don’t know how bad that is. I think it’s kind of a cool thing to introduce a whole generation of young people to different musical ideas."
