The CDC director is giving a conditional thumbs up for Halloween trick-or-treating.
Speaking on CBS' "Face the Nation," Dr.Rochelle Walenskysaid the traditional candy collecting should be okay if kids are outdoors and going in small groups. She added going to a crowded party is probably not the best idea.
Last year, CDC guidelines recommended against going trick-or-treating or having parties during the pandemic. But because of vaccines, Walensky hopes 2021 will be a different story.
