People choose the city they live in for a variety of reasons, whether it’s where they grew up, where their job is, or just some place that’s always interested them. But just because you like a city, doesn’t mean it’s actually the best place to live.
- Well now a new report by 24/7 Wall Street reveals their picks for the best cities to live in in the U.S.
- They looked data from the U.S. Census Bureau, FBI and the CDC to judge cities on factors related to affordability, economy, quality of life and community.
- California dominates the list with 20 cities, followed by Massachusetts with seven. California also has nine cities in the Top 10.
- Topping the list is Burlingame, California, located between San Francisco and San Jose , where median home income is $128,447, and the average unemployment rate over five years is just 4.7%. It also has among the highest quality of life ratings.
