Who among us hasn't had the urge to crawl under our desks and take a quick snooze? C'mon, you know you have.
Napping is a great way to recharge your batteries. The optimal time to nap is between 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. when many of us start to feel our bodies drag. Any later than that and you might be in for a hard time falling asleep at bedtime.
Naps should only last between 15 and 30 minutes. More than that can leave you drowsy, unproductive and unable to sleep later.
To make the most of nap time, sleep in a calm, dark, environment. Use an eye mask and earplugs to block out light and sound. (MarthaStewart.com)
