Here’s What You Need To Know About The Huge Coca-Cola Recall

Love Coke products? There’s a huge recall you’ll want to know about. Apparently, a number of products of some of their items due to metal contamination…as in, “contamination of metal bolts or washers.”Here’s a list of the products affected:

  • Minute Maid Berry Punch
  • Strawberry Lemonade
  • Fruit Punch in 59-ounce cartons
  • Sprite 12-ounce cans
  • Coca-Cola 12-ounce cans

All of the affected products have a date code of AUG 1522 WM B and were distributed in Connecticut, Maine, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Pennsylvania and Virginia.

And this recall is no joke – according to the USDA, it’s a “Class II” which means the “use of or exposure to a violative product may cause temporary or medically reversible adverse health consequences or where the probability of serious adverse health consequences is remote.”

What that means? You need to get rid of any of these products ASAP. You can also bring the products back to the place of purchase for a full refund and if you have further questions, call Coca-Cola’s Consumer Interaction Center at 1-800-GET-COKE (800-438-2653).
