A small plane crashed at a railroad crossing and was slammed into by a Metrolink train near Whiteman Airport in the Los Angeles area.
Luckily, the single engine Cessna went down close to a police station. LAPD officers pulled the pilot from the wreckage just six seconds before the collision, which happened yesterday afternoon.
The pilot suffered minor injuries and was treated at a hospital. His plane suffered an engine failure shortly after takeoff. There are no reports of anyone on the train getting hurt.
