Los Angeles Neighborhood Is Flooded With Mystery Food Deliveries

There’s a mystery afoot in a Los Angeles neighborhood. Residents in the Range View Avenue area of the city's Highland Park neighborhood love their food, but not this much. For the last three weeks, they have been flooded with Uber Eats orders from McDonald's, Taco Bell, Starbucks and other eateries at all hours of the day and night. The thing is… 13 a day is a lot. Some of the recipients of the food have tried to call the contact number, but it’s out of service. The meals are prepaid with tips. A representative for Uber, the delivery service's parent company, said officials are investigating the origins of the mystery orders.
