Not everyone is lucky to live in a perfect neighborhood surrounded by friendly, considerate folks always eager to lend a cup of sugar or bring over a fresh-baked pie. The truth is, most people hardly talk to their neighbors, according to a new survey. Of those polled, about 1-in-20 say they can't remember the last time they spoke to their next door neighbor face-to-face. The average respondent said they go at least three weeks without speaking to their neighbor. People were also asked about the most annoying things their neighbors do, and these were the top 10 responses:
- Inappropriate parking
- Loud music
- Barking dogs
- Shouting
- Noisy kids
- Noise from a house party
- Doors being slammed
- Loud TV
- Messy exterior appearance
- Animal poop left outside
