During the MTV Movie & TV Awards, Disnry showed a preview clip featuring the famous "Kiss the Girl" song. In this scene, Ariel and Prince Eric are on a boat ride while she's trying to get a quick kiss so she can get her voice back. The clip also features Flounder, Sebastian, and Scuttle, voiced by Jacob Tremblay, Daveed Diggs, and Awkwafina, respectively.
As we told you before, the live-action version of the movie will have some lyric changes in "Kiss the Girl" to allow for consent. Alan Menken, the composer, explained that they made these changes because some people have become sensitive about the idea of Prince Eric forcing himself on Ariel.
The movie hits theaters on May 26th!
