Peloton Recalls Over Two Million Exercise Bikes

Peloton has recalled 2.2 million exercise bikes because of a safety hazard. The company has received reports of bike seats breaking while in use. The malfunction could cause a user to fall off and injure themself.

In a statement, Peloton said, "Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled exercise bikes and contact Peloton for a free repair. Peloton is offering consumers a free seat post that can be self-installed."

This is the second major recall for the company. In 2021, Peloton recalled 125,000 treadmills after a child's death.
