ChatGPT Is Now Available For iPhones. The controversial PC program ChatGPT has gone mobile. Developer Open AI on Thursday launched a ChatGPT app that allows users to access the popular chatbot through their Apple iPhones. The official version comes after scores of imitators have released copycat apps in recent months. Like the desktop version, the ChatGPT app will give users access to an AI chatbot, which can answer questions, give advice, provide inspiration and more, according to Open AI. However, its best feature is its price tag: ChatGPT is being offered absolutely free, with no ads. Although Thursday’s launch is limited to U.S. users, Open AI officials say it will expand to other countries “in coming weeks.” What makes ChatGPT so controversial?
