The heat from the first three weeks of July has been oppressive throughout the world.
On Thursday, the World Meteorological Association said July could go down as the hottest month ever recorded.
The global mean surface temperature for the month has been 62.5 degrees Fahrenheit.
Last month was the hottest June ever.
