These Are The Best Places To Work For Women

The American workforce was about two-thirds women a decade ago, but today it’s 75% women, according to the Center for American Progress. Some companies give women more opportunities for advancement, equal pay and provide a better environment for their needs and a new report tells us which ones they are.

  • “Forbes” magazine’s annual list of America’s Best Employers for Women has just come out.
  • It’s based on survey results of 60-thousand employees, 40-thousand of which are women, at businesses with more than a thousand workers.
  • They asked workers about their company’s working environment, salary and employee diversity and whether they’d recommend their company to friends or family.
  • “Forbes” compared the women’s and men’s answers to find any significant differences in perceptions of the workplace.
  • The University of Oklahoma is number one for 2023. Female staffers there have access to women-focused health programs, generous paid parental leave and lactation rooms on all three campuses.
