Ozempic And Mounjaro Makers Are Sued For Causing Stomach Paralysis

The makers of weight loss drugs Ozempic and Mounjaro are being sued for allegedly failing to warn patients about the risk of severe gastrointestinal problems, including stomach paralysis. A Louisiana woman filed the suit against Novo Nordisk and Eli Lilly yesterday. The lawsuit says she took Ozempic for more than a year before trying Mounjaro and ended up with vomiting, stomach pain, loss of teeth and hospitalization. The law firm handling the case says they are looking into at least 400 more claims against the medications in 45 states.
