Experts Say There's Big Benefit To Having a "Third" Place

People who have a "third place" -- or someplace they frequent other than home or work are often happier.

A third place can be a coffee shop, bookstore, community center, gym or any place that you go to that encourages direct or indirect social interaction and fosters connections without the expectation of productivity.

Third places can center around a hobby or an activity in which you meet people with common interests for light conversation or meaningful discussions.
