Amazon is getting ready for the holiday rush. The company wants to hire 250,000 workers starting this month. Amazon is also raising base pay for new full-time, part-time, and seasonal workers to an average of $20.50 per hour.Every year, Amazon has a hiring push right before the holiday season. In 2022, the company sold nearly $1 billion in merchandise during the weekend after Thanksgiving.
