Billboard Drops Their Best Pop Songs Of All Time List

The greatest pop song in history is "I Wanna Dance with Somebody" by Whitney Houston. That's according to a group of staff writers at “Billboard” as the music publication celebrates the 65th year of its Hot 100 chart. The staff compiled its Top 500 songs based on what best defines pop music. Chart performance and record sales were not factors, so long as the song appeared in the Hot 100. "Dancing Queen" by Abba is number two and "My Girl" by the Temptations ranks third. Other notable songs are Barry Manilow's "Copacabana" at 193, and "Macarena" at number 500.
