Walmart is rolling out new "sensory-friendly" hours to help those who become overstimulated feel comfortable while shopping.
Starting next week, all US locations will be more relaxed between 8am and 10am. The overhead radio will be turned off, lights will be dimmed, and all televisions will hold a still image to make the environment less stimulating.
Walmart stated, "During these hours, we hope our customers and associates will find the stores to be a little easier on the eyes and ears."
