Oxford University Press Names 'Rizz' Word of The Year

Good at flirting? You may have "rizz", Oxford University Press' word of the year.

Rizz is slang for "romantic appeal or charm"; used mainly by Generation Z. The word is hashtagged billions of times on TikTok.

It's thought to be short for "charisma".

The word was also used when 'Spider-Man' actor Tom Holland was asked about his "rizz" in a June interview.
