Ford Recalling Nearly 2 Million Explorer SUVs

Ford is recalling nearly 2 million 2011 through 2019 Explorer SUVs due to a risk of trim flying off, creating a serious road hazard.

Clips holding the trim to the roof could come loose, increasing the risk of a crash.

There have been 164 complaints about the trim on Explorers. Ford decided against a recall until US regulators stepped in.

You can take your Ford Explorer to a dealership for a free inspection and repair.
