Can’t decide where to go for dinner? Yelp is here to help with their list of the top 100 restaurants in the U.S. for 2024. The crowd-sourced review site creates the list by having their team of data scientists analyze ratings, then they narrow that down with the expertise of their community managers and Trend Expert. The result is an eclectic mix of places to eat that range from white tablecloth eateries to food trucks.
- Yelp reports that 2024’s “exciting new culinary trends” include noodles, plant-based versions of classics and Korean fusion.
- The Sun Belt Region is now a culinary hot spot, according to Yelp, as restaurants in Arizona, Florida and Texas make up 30% of this year’s list.
- California tops the list as the state with the most restaurants at 18, and Florida is in second with 13.
- The number one restaurant on the list for 2024 is Tumerico, a vegetarian and vegan Mexican restaurant serving “inventive plant-based fare” at their two locations in Tucson, Arizona.
