  • They rated the 100 largest U.S. cities on 18 key metrics in the categories of Celebrations & Traditions, Affordability, Safety & Accessibility and Giving Thanks.
  • The factors include everything from the cost of Thanksgiving dinner to the share of delayed flights to the weather forecast.
  • Based on all that, the best place to celebrate Thanksgiving this year is San Diego, California.
  • It’s number one for Celebrations & Traditions, but it can be pricey, and lands at 80 for Affordability.
  • The most affordable city is Oklahoma City, which is 17th overall, while number one for Safety & Accessibility is Fort Wayne, Indiana, 24th overall.
  • On the flip side, at the bottom of the list is Stockton, California, making it the worst place to go for Thanksgiving.
