TripAdvisor’s annual Traveler’s Choice Best of the Best Awards for Destinations has just come out for 2025.
The travel site’s awards cover seven categories: Top Destinations, Trending Destinations, Culture Destinations, Food Destinations and Honeymoon Destinations, as well as two new subcategories - Solo Travel Destinations and one honoring the Top Destinations of the Last 25 Years, in honor of TripAdvisor’s 25th anniversary.
So, what are the hottest destinations to visit this year?
The top Trending Destination here in the U.S. is West Palm Beach, Florida, while the top Trending Destination in the world is Osaka, Japan.
London wins the Top Destination in the world and New York City takes the honor for the U.S.
For food lovers, the number one destination worldwide is Rome, Italy, while New Orleans tops that list for the U.S.
This year’s best Honeymoon Destination is Mauritius, the number one Culture Destination is Bali, Indonesia, and the top Solo Travel Destination is Seoul, South Korea.
And finally, the top 25th Anniversary Destinations are London, New York City, and Rome, Italy.
