NM Middle School Is Writing Hero Letters To Medical Workers

The Montessori Middle School l is honoring 33 Day Shift Nurses at UNM Hospital by writing them Thank You "Hero Letters"!

They would like to make the letter more impactful by including some sort of present...like a dinner gift card, etc.

If you are a business owner that would like to donate 33 gift cards for these medical workers..email me at ryan@1003thepeak.com and I will connect you with their teacher.

Here is the letter we received from the kids teacher:

My name is Amanda Hagerty and I am a local teacher at The Montessori Middle School in Albuquerque. In order to help my 7th and 8th graders make sense of the world around them, during the pandemic, I am having them complete a letter writing lesson/unit. They will be writing thank you "Hero Letters" to (33) day shift nurses, techs, and educational coordinators at UNMH, in Albuquerque. Students are currently working on their letters and will complete them on May 1st. I am writing to you in hopes that you could possibly help me make the letters that my middle school students are writing make an even bigger impact. What I am asking for is some sort of donation in the form of gift cards or prizes that could be given to each of the (33) healthcare heroes/workers, in addition to the letters. Any help honoring these giving individuals would be greatly appreciated.

With teachers like this...our future is in good hands
