Airlines Are Restricting Alcohol Service On Flights To Ensure Mask Usage

If you're flying right now, the least an airline can do is ply you with liquor, right? Wrong: CNN reports that many airlines, including U.S. carriers like Delta and American, are restricting and even barring the service of alcohol on their flights in response to COVID-19. In fact, some airlines' beverage service is limited to water, with the thinking being that a more limited array of offerings--including a dry county in the air--will limit interaction between crew and passengers and thus slow the spread of the virus.
