This Valentine's Day Name A Cockroach After Your Ex And Watch It Get Eaten

Cockroach and love

It ain't always wine and roses on Valentine's Day. Sometimes it's saying "goodbye" to someone to allow yourself to heal...

...and what better way to say "goodbye" to your ex than by naming a cockroach after them and then feeding it to a wild animal.

That's what the San Antonio Zoo's doing. Got an ex who makes you wanna tear your hair out? Just buy a roach from the zoo for $5, and they'll feed it to a bird or reptile as part of their Valentine's Day "Cry Me A Cockroach" livestream feeding event.

Even vegetarians left heartbroken can get in the action. For $5 they can buy some leafy greens that will be fed to one of the zoo's vegetarian animals.

You'll receive a certificate from the event to share on social media. You have until February 13th at 6 pm to register at sazoo.org/valentine.
